The Nubela Region is a Fakemon region featuring a full Fakemon pokedex.
Every Pokemon is designed and thought of by me.

Region of Nubela

Mesoza is the main and biggest island of the Nubela archipelago, smaller islands surround it.Mesoza has a small mountain range along the east edge of the island. It gets cold enough to snow during winter, it's the only place on any of the islands that does this.One of the mountains is actually an extinct volcano, which has amassed a hot spring lake built up over centuries.The other islands are almost uninhabitable, with many having abandoned or ghost villages. Many ghost and dark pokemon reside in there.

Lore of the Region

The Nubela region has the highest number of fossil pokemon in pokemon history.
The first fossil pokemon to be brought are this regions very own starter pokemon.
With scientists discovering new pokemon and bringing them back to the present.Unlike other fossil Pokemon, this regions fossil Pokemon are advanced enough not to be part rock type.──────────Sornea is one of the many islands to suround Mesoza, It is unoccupied and off limits to regular civilians.
It is an island where scientists of the region research and bring back the high concentration of fossil pokemon.Due to the digging and powers being used on this island however, they accidently reawokened the mythical/legendary kaiju pokemon that had been resting in the sea bed.──────────Throughout the region, there are a few secret labs hiding more lore and history about the region as well as more mysterious and mythical pokemon.

Inspiration

Nubela is not based on any country or region, and is instead based on concepts and media that I like.
Movies, shows, games and interests I love.The name of the region Nubela is named after Isla Nublar from the Jurassic Park series.
While the name of the main island, Mesoza is inspired by the Mesozoic era.
Other islands around the region are also named after islands and places from my other interests and media.Every Pokedex entry will contain the inspiration and ideas I had behind every Fakemon design and type.

Whilst each pokemon and character may be inspired by an existing ip, I plan on trying to make the pokemon at least somewhat unique and still feasable as their own pokemon, instead of just parodies.

This Pokemon is rather shy, prefering to stick to hiding in the reeds and long grass. However if provoked they will bite and not let go.Despite it's terrifying looks, it's got no ill will towards other trainers and pokemon. It just happens to bite whatever comes too close.Some trainers have trained this pokemon to bite with less force, making them more manageable during training.

A playful Pokemon, maybe a bit too exciteable, they have a habit of setting things on fire with their tail.Some people still view this pokemon as vicious and ruthless in battle, but it actually prefers to stay back, especially when it knows it's outmatched.This pokemon works well in teams with other of it's line, hyping each other up and gaining the confidence to take down bigger pokemon together.

A cheeky Pokemon that likes to spook other Pokemon and trainers with it's glow in the dark spots, making them look scarier than they are.They prefer hunting under the dark of night, using its glowing whiskers to lead prey right into its claws.Despite it's more independent and lonely nature, this Pokemon is incredibly loyal, they will pick a trainer and stick with them.
